Cosmetics used inappropriately may also weaken hair. If you often use strongly cleansing shampoos, with time, your strands will become matte, dull, weak and fragile. Their natural protective coating will be affected to the extent that the wisps will be very weak. However, if you choose proper products, you will be able to protect your hair from damage. The key is to limit cosmetics used for styling and cut down on the use of hot styling tools and hair dyes. However, if you feel the need to use hot tools, make sure to use thermal protecting cosmetics prior to styling. These will protect your hair from harmful influence of heat.

If you use strong cleansing products containing Sodium Laureth Sulfate or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate you weaken it even more.

Some products with the content of alcohol, proteins, herbs and vinegar can also harm the state of hair. Similar results can be noticed by improperly matched oils. What are the results? Rough, dry, dull wisps and irritated scalp. In some cases, inappropriate maintenance may result in the appearance of dandruff, psoriasis, seborrhea and pruritus.
